The gaming floor

Hours for the live tables are not published, and neither is the number of tables. Poker games and poker hours for Moose Jaw are not published either. A twenties look

Casino Moose Jaw calls itself the place "Where the Twenties Roar Again!" Its architecture and murals recall a time when bootleggers bucked the system. Jazz and dancing filled the streets back then, and the walls keep that memory in paint.

A renovation finished in 2024 opened up the gaming floor. Its design draws on the Snowbird planes and on the city's own history. CMJ Express, the casual café and snack bar, was redesigned too. It now carries the feel of the Chicago Connection Tunnels of Moose Jaw, with hints of the 1920s. Stop there for hot coffee, a cheeseburger or dry ribs during regular casino hours.

The years since 2002

Casino Moose Jaw opened on September 6, 2002, in a 12,000-square-foot facility leased from Temple Gardens Mineral Spa. The opening was part of the city's historical tourism theme. It also helped restore the downtown core. A pedway over Fairford Street links the casino to the spa's hotel expansion.

In late June 2023, a $5 million renovation began. It was the first extensive one since 2002, covering the gaming areas and the food and beverage areas. The casino stayed open throughout the work. It's run by SaskGaming, which is wholly owned by Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan (LGS). Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority, or SLGA for short, handles the regulating.
