    The casino by the spa

Casino Moose Jaw opened on September 6, 2002, in a 12,000-square-foot space leased from Temple Gardens Mineral Spa. It sits downtown, and a pedway crosses Fairford Street to the spa's hotel expansion. The opening was part of the city's historical tourism theme. It also helped the restoration of the downtown core.

Inside, the house motto is "Where the Twenties Roar Again!" Murals and architecture recall bootleggers bucking the system, with jazz and dancing filling the streets. A $5 million renovation began in late June 2023, and the casino stayed open throughout. It was the first extensive renovation since 2002. The 2024 result opened up the gaming floor, with a design drawn from the Snowbird planes and the city's history.

    How the weekend fits

Red-brick tunnel lit by bare bulbs

If you stay at the spa's hotel, the pedway over Fairford Street brings you across to the casino. Doors open at 9 am and close at 4 am, every night of the week. For a meal, CMJ Express serves hot coffee, cheeseburgers, wings, dry ribs, soups and salads during regular casino hours. Its 2024 redesign borrows the feel of the Chicago Connection Tunnels of Moose Jaw, with hints of the 1920s.

Players Club members can look at the Moose Jaw Getaway package on the casinos' tourism page. It pairs one night at the Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa with two passes to the Tunnels of Moose Jaw. Bookings go through 1-800-718-7727, and the current terms are on that page. Plan Sunday with care: city buses do not run that day.

    Online play in Saskatchewan

If you want to play online in Saskatchewan, PlayNow.com, run by SIGA, is your one lawful option, and it is open only to those 19 or older. The Government of Saskatchewan describes the competing sites as illegal platforms. SaskGaming adds a warning too: fake ads and apps online are borrowing the names of Casino Regina and Casino Moose Jaw.

Every Ad link on The Moose Jaw Casino Weekend points to a private online casino partner. You'll find them on the front page alone, each one labelled Ad. That partner is not PlayNow.com and has no connection with any Saskatchewan casino. The partner may change, and the Fairford Street desk is paid a commission by it.
